How to Sync Orbi Satellite to Router?

Sync Orbi Satellite to Home Router

There are two ways to sync Orbi satellites with your router, one is wirelessly and other is Ethernet backhaul connection.

Sync Button

Just turn on the satellites at the desired locations in home and press the router Sync button. Within two minutes, you have to press the Sync button on the satellites. The devices will connect after some time.

Ethernet Backhaul

In this method, you have to use the Ethernet cable. One end will connects to the Satellite port and other will inserted in to the router LAN port. If there are two satellites, then you need two pair of cables.

Configure Orbi Satellites

Via Orbi App

  • You have to download the Orbi app in your phone, which you can easily do from the Play Store or App Store.
  • Then open and access the app from the login details of the Orbi router connected to the home network.
  • Inside the app, you have to tap on the Add (+) button and select the Orbi satellites in the app.
  • Configure them with router settings and you are ready to connect with the satellites network.

Via Orbi GUI

  • To configure the device, you have to connect the computer to the Deco network via LAN cable.
  • Enter to the web browser; type the URL orbilogin.com or orbilogin.net or IP address 192.168.1.1
  • Search by pressing Enter button on the keyboard.
  • You will reach to the interface window login page, where you have to enter the username and password.
  • Configure them with router settings and you are ready to connect with the satellites network.
