How to Reset Orbi Router Device?

The Orbi mesh system is one of the extra-ordinary networking devices, which you can easily connect with home ISP modem. But if you are facing technical issues like router not working, Orbi pink light or Orbi purple light showing on the device, then you have to reset the router. Orbi Router Reset Process

There reset process is used for clearing or deleting all the data from the device, which is the last option to solve any technical issue. Have a look how to do Orbi factory reset process;

• You will find the RESET pinhole button at the back on the device near the ports.
• You need a sharp object like paper pin, or pen to press and hold it for 7-10 seconds.
• After releasing it the reset process will starts and after some time it will be done.

Now, the Orbi router admin and SSID credentials will go to default. So, it is time to set them from the Orbilogin interface or Phone app (Orbi app).

Reconfiguration After Reset

There are two ways to reconfigure the device, which are through the phone and the other one is interface GUI in computer. Look how to configure it again one by one;

Through Computer/Laptop

• You need to connect the computer or laptop via LAN cable or SSID credentials.
• After that, go in to the updated web browser and search the Orbilogin.net or orbilogin.com or IP address 192.168.1.1.
• You will get to the Orbi login page, here just enter the default admin username and password.
• By pressing Enter button you will get to the interface page, where you can adjust all the settings easily.

There is one more way to adjust the settings from your phone via Orbi app.

Through phone/iPhone

• You must connect to the internet first to download the Orbi app in your phone.
• To access the app you should type in the username and password (admin).
• By taping on the Login button, you will get in to the app dashboard.
• Here, you can adjust the settings again like change WiFi password or adjusting the channels.

If you are facing the Orbi pink light or Orbi purple light, then try updating the firmware of the Orbi from interface manually.
